Crispy Brussel Sprouts .......Vegetarian Recipe

So I know that not everyone likes brussel sprouts, but those who do...really love them!! This recipe makes a side dish to go with any meats however I make them and store them to top salads!


Yummy any way you eat  it! This is an easy breezy recipe and leaves my vegetable cravings totally satisfied!






Ingredients

Brussel Sprouts                    One bag
Garlic                                    5 Cloves                 
Himalayan Salt                     To taste
Black pepper                        To taste
Balsamic Vinegar                 Two Tbsp
Maple Syrup                         One Tsp
Olive Oil                               Three Tbsp

Method

Pre Heat oven to 400F.

Wash and clean brussel sprouts removing outer leaves and cut them into halves. Peel garlic and mix it up with clean sprouts.

Add olive oil, salt and pepper stirring gently so it coats the sprouts in the roasting pan.

In a bowl add a teaspoon of good quality maple syrup ( I use a Canadian one) to two tablespoons of good quality Balsamic Vinegar and one tbsp of olive oil mixing well. Now pour this mix on the sprouts stirring so it coats them all.

Roast these in the oven for about 16 to 20 min and they are ready to serve. Enjoy!!

Optional

If desired chopped bacon can be added with sliced onions to add more flavor but the vegetarian recipe is very delicious.

Parmesan Cheese may be added as a topper before serving too.
