Spicy Kababs for a cold cold night
On a bitterly cold night in Austin,Texas I tend to cook something yummy, hot and spicy! It makes my family rush to the kitchen wondering what's cooking and then I can bask in the glow of feeding them something tasty and making memories too!!
Here is the recipe for the kababs everyone loves!
Ground beef
Chopped onion
Chopped green chillies
Chopped cilantro
Bread crumbs
Sea Salt
Fresh Ground Pepper
Cumin Powder
Coriander Powder
Red Pepper Flakes
Ground Garlic
Ground Ginger
For the Mint Chutney:
Fresh mint leaves......a bunch
One small onion
One small tomato
One green chilli
A dash of sugar
Salt to taste
Red pepper flakes
Mix all the above in a food processor and serve with hot kababs.
The Kababs:
For this recipe you will need some ground ginger and garlic.....make about a teaspoon of this. Also add a dash of bread crumbs as they bind the meat together. Chop the onions and green chillies very finely so they blend well in the meat mixture. Mix together the ground beef and all the ingredients to form flat circles in the palm of your hands and pan fry in a little olive oil and serve hot with mint chutney!
